Alle Segelvarianten beim Downwind-Segeln an der Ostküste von Teneriffa. Doch beim Einholen des Parasailors geschah es. Die Bergeleine rauschte aus und hinterließ schmerzhafte Brandblasen an beiden Händen. ▬ Über diesen Film ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ Wir hatten Besuch und waren somit gewappnet für einen traumhaften Downwind-Segeltag an der Ostküste von Teneriffa. Alle Segelvarianten konnten wir ausprobieren - Parasailor, Fock, Groß. Das zu späte Bergen des Parasailors habe ich dann jedoch mit schmerzhaften Brandblasen bezahlt. Wir haben in einer Bucht geankert, wurden aber vom Schwell in die Marina zurückgetrieben. Wir haben Delfine und Wale beobachtet. Außerdem berichten wir von unserem Leben in Las Palmas. Wir sind mit dem Bus zur Sprachschule gefahren, waren auf einem Open-Air-Konzert, im Aquarium und haben einen Ausflug nach Fataga gemacht. Unser Leben ist abwechslungsreich. Habt Ihr konkrete Fragen? Dafür haben wir uns einen Katamaran gekauft, mit dem wir Anfang März von der französischen Atlantikküste auf die Barfußroute gestartet sind. Seit vielen Jahren war eine Weltumsegelung mein (Hannes) großer Traum, den ich berufsbedingt zum Renteneintrittsalter verwirklichen wollte. Manchmal kommt das Leben aber anders als man plant. Im Frühjahr dieses Jahrs erhielt ich die Diagnose Morbus Parkinson. Plötzlich beschleunigte sich mein Leben erheblich, ich verkaufte mein Haus, löste den Hausrat auf und begann Berge an Schiffsausrüstung anzuschaffen. „Leinen los!“ war für Anfang März geplant – und so kam es auch, trotz Corona. Brigitta war natürlich erst einmal vollkommen überrascht, obwohl eine Weltumsegelung wesentlich besser in Ihr berufliches Leben als Vorruheständlerin passte als in meins. In den letzten 6 Monaten hat Sie aber eine erstaunliche Entwicklung hinter sich gebracht und freut sich auf unser großes Abenteuer genau wie ich. Plan International ist ein internationales Kinderhilfswerk. Auf unserer Reise wollen wir nicht nur in Traumbuchten chillen sondern Programmländer von Plan besuchen und die dortige Arbeit dokumentieren.
