Après une matinée incroyablement calme, rythmée par une bonne tasse de café chaud et une séance de yoga sur le pont, on met le cap en famille vers Morrodub. Sur place, on découvre plusieurs hirondelles épuisées, surprises par plusieurs jours de mauvaise météo. Certaines s’en sortent, d’autres un peu moins… la nature nous rappelle qu’elle peut être aussi belle que fragile. Entre une séance de chasse sous-marine, une nuit orageuse intense et beaucoup de moments simples à partager en famille, cette journée résume parfaitement notre vie à bord. Et puis il y a Malo, notre petit garçon de 3 ans, qui nous impressionne encore une fois : sans hésiter, il saute seul à l’eau pour aller observer des raies aigles, calmes et majestueuses. We woke up anchored off Ao Salat on Koh Kood after one of the calmest nights we’ve had in Thailand. From there, we pulled anchor and set sail 18 miles north toward Koh Wai… with a thunderstorm building right in our path. After dodging the weather, we made it safely to Koh Wai and grabbed a mooring just off the beach. And honestly… this place might be one of the best-kept secrets in Thailand. You can stay here for: Ocean view bungalows for around $15/night Beachfront bungalows for about $30/night And the food? Just as cheap. We spent the afternoon exploring the island, hanging out at one of the laid-back resorts, and soaking in the views. The only hiccup… an aggressive dog on the island that took a little too much interest in our pups 😅 Overall though—amazing spot, incredible value, and definitely somewhere we’ll be back to. Nachdem uns der Hafenmeister von Stubbekøbing geholfen hat, schnell eine neue Batterie zu besorgen, konnten wir diese sogleich einbauen. Aber da alleine war nicht alles, was repariert werden musste. Auf einem Boot ist ja immer irgend etwas. Nichts desto trotz haben wir zwischendurch auch mal Pause gemacht und mit sehr netten Menschen das Midsommerfest gefeiert. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Ziel dieser Saison war eigentlich Norwegen. Aber es sollte anders kommen. Immerhin haben wir es bis Skagen geschafft. Von dort über die westschwedischen Schären an der Westküste Dänemarks vorbei bis wieder nach Wismar. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Schaut selbst in den folgenden Videos, welche Häfen und Ankerplätze wir angelaufen haben und was wir dort erlebt haben. I recently competed in my first ever official triathlon in London, entering the Super Sprint distance. The reason I chose the shorter race was because I’ve been dealing with a knee injury, so my main goal going into the event was simply to complete the race and take it easy on the run section if needed. My plan was to walk the run if the knee started complaining… But something surprising happened. The knee held up, I managed to run the entire run section without stopping, and when the results came in the outcome was far better than I expected. 🏊‍♂️ Swim 🚴‍♂️ Bike 🏃‍♂️ Run Final Result: 🥈 2nd Place Overall – Open Category 🥇 1st Place – Age Group For my first ever triathlon, I was absolutely thrilled with that result.
