Vorderleine und Achterleine, Vorderspring und Achterspring. Segel setzen: Fock, Groß, Parasailor. Anker ausbringen und einholen und vor allem vorbereiten. Es darf auch gerne ein anderer Anker sein als der der von Lagoon serienmäßig mitgeliefert wird. Und was ist alles zu bedenken, wenn durch systematische Pflege der neuwertige Standard des Schiffes möglichst lange erhalten bleiben soll. ▬ Über diesen Kanal ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ Wir sind Brigitta und Hannes. Wir wollen gemeinsam um die Welt segeln. Dafür haben wir uns einen Katamaran gekauft mit dem wir Anfang März von der französischen Atlantikküste auf die Barfußroute starten wollen. Seit vielen Jahren war eine Weltumsegelung mein (Hannes) großer Traum, den ich berufsbedingt zum Renteneintrittsalter verwirklichen wollte. Manchmal kommt das Leben aber anders als man plant. Im Frühjahr diesen Jahres erhielt ich die Diagnose Morbus Parkinson. Plötzlich beschleunigte sich mein Leben erheblich, ich verkaufte mein Haus, löste den Hausrat auf und begann Berge an Schiffsausrüstung anzuschaffen. „Leinen los!“ war für Anfang März geplant – und so kam es auch, trotz Corona. Brigitta war natürlich erst einmal vollkommen überrascht, obwohl eine Weltumsegelung wesentlich besser in Ihr berufliches Leben als Vorruheständlerin passte als in meins. In den letzten 6 Monaten hat Sie aber eine erstaunliche Entwicklung hinter sich gebracht und freut sich auf unser großes Abenteuer genau wie ich. Plan International ist ein internationales Kinderhilfswerk. Auf unserer Reise wollen wir nicht nur in Traumbuchten chillen sondern Programmländer von Plan besuchen und die dortige Arbeit dokumentieren.
