► Fondée en 1964 par le navigateur et designer Keith Musto, la marque éponyme britannique s’est vite rapidement fait un nom dans le domaine des vêtements techniques dédiés à la navigation. Parmi la très large gamme de produits aujourd’hui proposés, nous avons pu tester le modèle BR1 que nous a confié la société Primaloft, fabricant de la matière isolante utilisée pour cette veste. ► La veste BR1 se présente comme une veste à usage « côtier », c’est-à-dire qu’elle n’est pas conçue pour un usage extrême comme la course au large ou la voile légère. Ce type de vêtement convient parfaitement à la pratique du catamaran de plaisance, dont le confort et la protection permettent en fait d’utiliser cette famille de vêtements en usage « hauturier ». ► La veste Musto assure un effet coupe-vent immédiat et une excellente sensation de protection sans tenir trop chaud au soleil – c’est un bon compromis à mon sens pour un usage très large, dans la zone Caraïbes sous l’alizé et ses embruns tièdes comme sous des latitudes plus fraîches en mi-saison. Les membranes BR1 extérieures remplit son office en termes d'imperméabilité et de respirabilité et l’ensemble des matériaux de la veste – tout comme sa coupe – préserve une liberté de mouvements satisfaisantes. Dans le détail, on apprécie également la capuche réfléchissante réglable et repliable dans le col. Les autres détails réfléchissants sont présents sur les coutures et le logo - ils sont sans doute un peu discrets sur le plan strict de la sécurité mais permettent du coup une utilisation « urbaine ». ► Les poches principales à double ouverture doublées de polaire brossée sont parfaites pour garder les mains au chaud. Un astucieux système de scratch permet de maintenir les poches en place tout en gardant la possibilité de les retourner pour les nettoyer. Ces poches sont complétées deux autres extérieures à scratch et une intérieure zippée, prévue pour sécuriser les objets personnels. After last week’s episode, where you saw us sailing through a sudden squall in the South China Sea, we finally arrived at Tarempa, the capital of the Anambas Islands, Indonesia, aboard our sailboat SV Reeva. One of the most common questions we receive as a liveaboard sailing family is: How do sailboats check into another country? In this episode, we explain how to enter Indonesia by sailboat, covering the full Indonesia immigration process for yachts, especially in a remote cruising destination like Anambas Islands. To make the international boat clearance smooth, we took the help of a local Indonesia sailing agent. In Indonesia, the customs and immigration clearance for sailboats happens onboard. Government officials visit the yacht, including Port Control / Harbour Master (who checks boat registration and safety documents), the Health Inspector, Customs, and Immigration officials. Once all boat papers and passports are verified, our passports are taken ashore and returned with official Indonesian entry stamps. With clearance complete, we are legally checked into Indonesia and ready to continue our sailing adventure in Southeast Asia. The Anambas Islands are one of Indonesia’s hidden sailing paradises, known for crystal-clear waters, untouched coral reefs, quiet anchorages, and pristine island life. Το Women in Yachting Conference σχεδιάστηκε από την ONDECK Events με στόχο να γίνει ένα δυναμικό βήμα διαλόγου, έμπνευσης και συνεργασιών. Οι συζητήσεις των πάνελ, από τις πρωτοπόρες που άνοιξαν δρόμους σε έναν απαιτητικό χώρο, μέχρι τις νέες επαγγελματίες της τεχνολογίας, του σχεδιασμού και της βιωσιμότητας, ανέδειξαν τον καταλυτικό ρόλο των γυναικών στο μέλλον του κλάδου. Ένα συνέδριο που ανοίγει νέους ορίζοντες Η ONDECK Events δεσμεύεται να συνεχίσει και να επεκτείνει τον θεσμό, θέτοντας τις βάσεις για ακόμη πιο στοχευμένες δράσεις τα επόμενα χρόνια.
