Man kann sich durch einen Agenten helfen lassen – wir können das aber selber. Die Einklarierung für die Passagiere wird zur 2-tägigen Prozedur, da der Harbourmaster an diesem Tag bereits um 12:00 Uhr schließt. MariaNoa wird wieder einmal gefilzt, was ich immer unangenehmer empfinde, anstatt mich daran zu gewöhnen. Die Menge Alkohol pro Passagier wird moniert – dann wieder nicht. Es riecht nach gewünschter Bestechung – ich stelle mich taub. Nach der Prozedur auf der Isla Mujerez steht nun noch das Temporal Import Permit TIP für MariaNoa aus, welches nur in Cancun beantragt werden kann. Die Behörde ist kürzlich umgezogen und kaum auffindbar. Die Beamtin ist dann aber ausgesprochen freundlich, kompetent und spricht ein sehr gut verständliches Englisch. Habt Ihr konkrete Fragen? Dafür haben wir uns einen Katamaran gekauft, mit dem wir Anfang März 2021 von der französischen Atlantikküste auf die Barfußroute gestartet sind. Seit vielen Jahren war eine Weltumsegelung mein (Hannes) großer Traum, den ich berufsbedingt zum Renteneintrittsalter verwirklichen wollte. Manchmal kommt das Leben aber anders als man plant. Im Frühjahr 2020 erhielt ich die Diagnose Morbus Parkinson. Plötzlich beschleunigte sich mein Leben erheblich, ich verkaufte mein Haus, löste den Hausrat auf und begann Berge an Schiffsausrüstung anzuschaffen. „Leinen los!“ war für Anfang März 2021geplant – und so kam es auch, trotz Corona. Brigitta war natürlich erst einmal vollkommen überrascht, obwohl eine Weltumsegelung wesentlich besser in Ihr berufliches Leben als Vorruheständlerin passte als in meins. In den letzten 6 Monaten hat Sie aber eine erstaunliche Entwicklung hinter sich gebracht und freut sich auf unser großes Abenteuer genau wie ich. Plan International ist ein internationales Kinderhilfswerk. Auf unserer Reise wollen wir nicht nur in Traumbuchten chillen sondern Programmländer von Plan besuchen und die dortige Arbeit dokumentieren.
