Sicuramente il catamarano Tortue 147, del neonato cantiere Cataruga. Il fondatore è francese, l'headquarter è in Svizzera, la costruzione delle barche avviene in Tunisia, a Sousse. Visionaria è la sua concezione, nata da un'idea di Jean Sommereux: già il nome Cataruga Tortue 147 racconta molto: "Il riferimento alle tartarughe non è certamente casuale - ci ha spiegato Joanna Sommereux, la figlia di Jean e responsabile delle comunicazione del brand - non volevamo fare una progetto improntato sulla ricerca della velocità, quanto piuttosto sull'idea di sicurezza, autonomia e rapporto diretto con la natura. La tartaruga si porta dietro la sua casa... e Tortue 147 vuole proprio essere una barca-casa, per girare il mondo". Tortue 147 (il numero è un riferimento alla sua lunghezza, 14,7 metri) è interamente realizzato in alluminio e, più che una casa, sembra quasi un castello grazie al suo layout di interni (tre cabine, nove posti letto, due bagni) ed esterni "multilivello" totalmente inaspettato, e diverso da quanto si vede attualmente sul mercato. Alla fine è davvero più facile a farsi, che a raccontarsi! Riguardando il video mi sono accorto che prendere una mano di terzaroli è una manovra che spesso spaventa dal punto di vista teorico, ma nella pratica posso garantirvi che è davvero semplice. Il segreto, come sempre, è non imparare le cose a memoria, ma capire i meccanismi di ogni cosa che si fa a bordo. In questo modo tutto viene più naturale ed è anche più semplice risolvere eventuali intoppi, che ovviamente non mancano mai. Non ho inserito nel video, per non allungarlo ulteriormente, la riduzione del fiocco, in quanto è davvero identica alla manovra di chiusura del fiocco stesso, che credo di aver già raccontato in un video. Mi piace provare a fare tutto in solitario a bordo, perchè più cose si sanno fare, ma soprattutto risolvere, più si riuscirà a mantenere e trasmettere la calma al proprio equipaggio anche quando bisogna risolvere un problema. Nei prossimi mesi la stessa attenzione alla risoluzione dei problem in solitaria vorrei applicarla alla conoscenza del motore.. quindi se ci sono meccanici nautici in zona marina di Ravenna che ogni tanto vogliono farmi una bella lezione a bordo, si facciano avanti!
