Here is What 30 New York City Street Musicians Sound Like Covering New York State of Mind and it is awesome! 30 New York City Street Musicians, who were featured in the Award Winning Limited Edition Art Book book, The Noise Beneath the Apple®, by Heather Jacks, came together at Grand Street Recording in Brooklyn, NY to record a version of “New York State of Mind,” written by Billy Joel. The song was arranged, produced and mixed by Keaton Simons, co-produced by John Briggs, engineered by Ken Rich, assistant engineered by Jake Lummus, and executive produced by John Seiter. I live on a sailboat now, but this was a project we did some years ago, and I just loved it. I hope you do too.
