This book is the chronicle of W.A. Robinson setting off on his 32 footer 'Svaap' from Panama, taking two years to circumnavigate the world in the interwar years. It is a wonderfully written and diligent account by a sailor who although initially advertising himself as 'not a writer', goes on to produce the most wonderfully vivid and heartfelt story, that even now, nearly a hundred years later, still stirs the soul of the sailor to adventures beyond the West horizon. Hans Lo dragged himself away from the permanent nightlife of Hong Kong’s to enjoy a calm four days at the sunny Sanctuary Cove Boat Show. He spent most of the show inside the enclosed fly bridge of the luxurious CLB65, the baby of the range. Described as contemporary, cool and comfortable the nephew of Cheoy Lee Shipyards Director Martin, was clearly very comfortable on the luxe weekender and could easily see his friends or family heading off for a weekend of yachting on Victoria Harbour. He kindly took a break from showing prospective clients the vessel to give us a mini-tour. With several levels of customisation available in this model the company’s white and orange brand colours could be seen echoed throughout the chic open-plan layout. Wide white oak floorboards, echoed the relaxed interiors of beach resort, contributing a laid back resort feeling to the vessel. And free flowing indoor outdoor format of the yacht was founded on one of the shadiest enclaves of the marina. Sandwiched between between Fleming’s Raby Bay and Selene’s Moodshadow. Watch Hans Lo, Deputy Director of CL Yachts talk you through the yacht with cinematic shots in the panoramic aft lounge at Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show 2025.

A very fine example of highly talented and revered French yacht designer André Mauric’s work, ANTEREN has been given a modern twist par excellence by some of the best names in the crossover between traditional and modern woodworking skills and rig design. https://www.sandemanyachtcompany.co.uk/yacht/757/ANTEREN%20(ex%20GLEN%20ELLEN%20II) Very early in his career, Mauric found a sweet spot in the design of an easily-driven, light on the helm, relatively light displacement hull form that he continued to refine - successfully on the race course - into the 1960s. Adding modern short-handed sailing systems and comforts down below to an already thoroughbred hull has resulted in a most enticing blend that many present day designers strive to emulate, yet ANTEREN remains a cut above.

Perfect for extended stays. Guest Stateroom (forward): Over/under berths or V-berths with private head access, ideal for guests or family. Heads: Two private heads (fore and aft) with showers, offering convenience for multiple guests or liveaboard use. 🌟 Benefits Economical Cruising: With a fuel burn rate of ~1.5 mpg (single engine) or efficient twin Perkins engines, this trawler is budget-friendly for long-range cruising. Stability & Handling: The semi-displacement hull and wide beam provide excellent stability in moderate seas, making it ideal for coastal cruising in areas like the Pacific Northwest or the Great Loop. Versatile Use: Perfect for overnight cruising, day trips, or as a comfortable liveaboard with its spacious interior and practical layout. Durable Construction: Built by Chung Hwa Boats in Taiwan, the heavily laid-up fiberglass hull ensures durability, though check for window leaks and deck maintenance. Low Maintenance Options: Many models have replaced teak decks with fiberglass for reduced upkeep, and features like LED lighting and updated windows (e.g., Diamond Seaglaze) enhance longevity. Great Loop Capable: With a shallow draft and robust systems, this trawler is well-suited for extended adventures like the Great Loop. Classic Appeal: The teak interior and exterior brightwork give it a timeless, head-turning aesthetic, perfect for those who love traditional trawler styling. ⚠️ Maintenance Tips Inspect for window leaks, a common issue with Taiwanese trawlers, to prevent cabin damage. Check the keel and hull for delamination or blistering, especially if the boat has grounded. Ensure the propeller is balanced to avoid vibrations and verify engine maintenance records for the reliable Lehman or Perkins engines.

SURFRENZY simply exudes all the classic British mid-century charm expected of the Fairley Marine powerboats: practical, race-bred express cruisers with fine Ray Hunt/ Alan Burnard 'Deep-V' sea-keeping and handling provenance, and superb looks. Essentially a stretched Huntsman 28, the extra 5 feet of length allows the Swordsman 33 to offer either a huge cockpit, or this version with its en-suite double aft cabin neatly housed between the iconic swept coamings. https://www.sandemanyachtcompany.co.uk/yacht/771/SURFRENZY SURFRENZY has enjoyed few and careful ownerships with gentle upgrades over the years without any loss of charm or period feel. She has been lightly used in current ownership with her engines regularly serviced by a good marine engineer, and recently was treated to a transom rebuild by the skilled carpenters at Traditional Shipwright Services, Poole.

New Zealand delivers – once again. This video shows the iFLY RAZZOR Pro sailed in one of the world’s most iconic foiling environments: the Hauraki Gulf, with Rangitoto Island in the background, just off Auckland’s North Shore, New Zealand. The boat is sailed by highly skilled sailors — including Olympic Gold Medalist and New Zealand national champion Jo Aleh during a dedicated Masterclass Foiling Session — as well as by an experienced A-Cat sailing couple sending it hard during their very first time on the iFLY. The iFLY RAZZOR Pro is sailed both single-handed and double-handed, pushed in real conditions. The focus is clear and uncompromising: speed, control, flight stability, and confidence under load. With the large rig fully powered, the iFLY RAZZOR Pro demonstrates what modern hydrofoil sailing is about: • sustained foiling upwind and downwind • high-speed runs under load • stable flight through changing wind and sea state • predictable, confidence-inspiring handling at speed A key feature on display is the iFLY Mainfoil Differential Technology (MDT – Rake Control), allowing the sailor to actively manage foil trim and righting moment. This provides precise control when sailing fully powered and at the limit. At the same time, the Flysafe® Intelligent Foil Control System operates quietly in the background, continuously stabilising flight height and pitch. The result: a boat that can be pushed hard while remaining composed, safe, and controllable. Throughout the session, numerous New Zealand sailors are seen foiling fast, wild, and confident — yet always in control — surrounded by the raw beauty of the Hauraki Gulf. No staging, no exaggeration: just real sailors, real conditions, and real foiling. The footage shows the iFLY doing exactly what it was designed for: fast, controlled foiling — sailed by people who know how to use it. New Zealand’s sailing culture, skill level, and unique conditions underline the true capabilities of the boat. In the final minutes, we share some of the magic of Rangitoto Island — the iconic volcano rising from the Gulf. Enjoy the ride. 😎 More information about the iFLY RAZZOR Pro: 👉 http://www.iFLYsail.com/ iFLY RAZZOR Pro — We love SPEED, while keeping CONTROL.
