The Meri Crew sails offshore from VA to FL. We leave Hampton VA where the weather is getting downright cold and head south on the Atlantic ocean. After a four day passage we arrive in Florida where it is shorts and T-shirt weather. Along the way we have a night of bad weather, but also some great sailing and overall a fine passage.

The 44th edition of the Hospice Cup in Annapolis brought nearly 100 boats out to the Chesapeake Bay. Hi Folks! I found some footage from where we first cleaned up Reverie, our 1985 Pearson 34 CB Sailboat. We did a walkthrough of the boat. You will see a couple of pictures of what it looked like before and after. During this phase of our refit we were waiting for space to open at the DIY Yard so we could move the boat, so we were focusing on cleaning and fixing above the waterline. A lot of boat yards are being picked up by real estate developers to turn them into condos, so the availability of places to get work done will be going down over town, especially places where you could do the work yourself. She is fairly comfortable with 15 to 20 kts of wind. Freshwater capacity to last over 2 weeks and a fuel range of 13 days steaming. About the Boat ''SY Red Current'' is a Southerly 31 with the construction of GRP and rigged as a sloop with Aluminium Mast. Her LOA is 31 feet and she has a beam of 10 feet with a draft of 7 feet. She also has an electric swing keel which makes her draft very shallow and easy to enter in shallow water. We sailed from USVI to Antigua - the Island of 365 beaches, historic sides and tasty cuisine. Safe shallow waters are full of coral reefs perfect for snorkeling and scuba diving. The weather rarely escapes 80 deg. We chose English Harbor for our anchorage. We are surrounded by turtles and stingrays swimming around the yacht. The hikes are beautiful with breath taking views. Ocean had the chance to sit down with Angela Burlizzi and Andrea Gambacorti from Analu at the 2022 Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show to chat about what happens when architecture meets fashion. Burlizzi and Gambacorti joined forces to create Analu after seeing a gap in the Australian market that needed to be filled, bringing natural and eco-sustainable fibres to the forefront of the industry. Also discussed was the hot topic of inspiration, which the pair say is influenced by art and architecture. Yet, both agree that design primarily comes from the soul. After building an established and recognised brand in Australia and overseas, Ocean finds out what's next for Analu, namely international requests and some new, limited and handpicked items on their way.
