In Episode 66 of the Sailing Goat Series, we spend another day soaking in Athens, and we have to admit—it’s really growing on us. From ancient monuments to modern rooftops, this city has a unique vibe that’s hard not to love. We kick off the day by visiting the Greek Parliament just in time to witness the changing of the guard, a ceremony filled with tradition and precision. After that, it’s back to boat business—replacing the solar panels we lost in Trizonia. Thankfully, we finally found suitable replacements in the city, and with the help of our awesome neighbor from the sailboat next door, we were able to retrieve and install them. This time, we didn’t mess around—we used a ridiculous number of bolts to make sure these panels aren’t going anywhere, no matter how hard the Aegean blows! With the job done, we treated ourselves to some museum visits, soaked in the local culture, and topped it all off with a delicious rooftop sushi dinner overlooking Athens. ⚡ Solar Panels Reinstalled (for Good This Time): After losing our panels to a brutal gust in Trizonia, we finally replace them—and over-engineer the install to ensure they’ll never fly away again. 🇬🇷 Changing of the Guard: We catch the ceremonial event in front of the Greek Parliament, a proud and precise display of national tradition. 🖼️ Museums & Culture: Athens continues to impress with its mix of ancient history and modern energy. O vento estava de Sul a sudeste com 12 a 15 nós, a tripulação empolgada e disposta a encarar o mau tempo pois chovia. Apesar de não estarmos entrosados e não treinar, conseguimos errar pouco e largar bem, o que é muito bom para um barco de cruzeiro poder disputar as primeiras colocações. 💥 Entre fous rires, nostalgie et mer agitée, cet épisode promet des émotions ! Du paddle tracté à Béquia jusqu’à la navigation mouvementée vers Sainte-Lucie, on te fait vivre chaque instant à bord. 🌊 🌍 ÉPISODE 37ᵉ de notre tour du monde en famille en catamaran, On commence dans la bonne humeur avec une session de paddle tracté derrière l’annexe — fous rires garantis 😄 ! Puis, direction la plage pour une partie de volley improvisée avec les locaux, un vrai moment de partage. Le lendemain, cap sur Saint-Vincent, au mouillage de Chateaubelair. Une courte traversée tranquille, pleine de nostalgie… avant de lever l’ancre à l’aube, direction Sainte-Lucie et notre première escale à Soufrière Bay. Et là, changement d’ambiance : mer formée, vent soutenu, bateau qui bouge dans tous les sens ! 🌬️⛵ On t’emmène dans les vagues, caméra embarquée.
