Here's how September went! We were blessed enough to get a good sum of money from Pat's dad's house. It really set us up well for some things we needed and some things we've been wanting to do. **Pat noticed that I forgot to talk about the $1000 that was categorized as Batteries. This is for 4 new AGM Batteries for our boat. They are pretty pricey. We probably wont spend all that money on the batteries. 20 October 2013 - The MC²60 #1 Mach² finished 2nd over the line in the 656 miles Hong Kong to Vietnam Race behind Ragamuffin 90 skippered by Syd Fisher with around 20 professional sailors on board. Mach² raced with only 6 crew. The MC²60 finished ahead of the three TP52, the other 90ft monohull, Chivas and a fleet of racing 40ft monohulls. Mach² sailed the 656 miles in 49h30mns. Nossa folia foi mais do que especial! Dividimos o feriadão de carnaval em uma bela velejada com familiares e amigos, uma flotilha com cerca de 7 embarcações com direito a uma linda ancoragem e churrasco. Em outro dia mais velejada com a mamãe do Beto, pena que o tempo virou e tivemos que interromper sem nem mesmo termos gravado. No 3ª e o último dia foi uma velejado raiz, muita chuva! Mesmo assim encalhamos na prainha para nos abrigar, fazer um belo macarrão alho e oleo com carne de porco para tirar agua da boca. De fato ficou ótimo. Ao encontrarmos o amigo Fabio (instrutor de vela e do canal Velejar é Vida) o Lucas nos surpreendeu dizendo ser um grande fã do Fabio, pediu autógrafo, fotos e um abraço ao ídolo. Fabio muito obrigado pelo carinho conosco e especialmente com o Lucas e Livia.
