Un detalle curioso es que en la ensenada de Benzú (35º 54,82'N 005º 23,46'W) se encuentra el pueblo de Beliones, Beyounnes o Belyounech ( https://es.wikiloc.com/rutas-senderismo/marruecos-beliunech-y-la-mujer-muerta-773187) donde se ubicó una ballenera en 1945 y tuvo actividad durante ocho años ( http://ceutareportajes.blogspot.com/2013/10/la-ballenera-de-beliones-una-joya-de-la.html) La travesía, 10/12/2023, tanscurrió con levante F3-4 y marejada, usando el genaker runner tipo A2 hasta el través de Punta Leona, donde con 22 kn de aparente y recogiendo el genaker, una guiñada por un olón de unos 3 metros descompuso la vela y el terminar de enrollar fue toda una aventura, tanto que la vela se desgarró por los gualdrapazos que estuvo dando. El regreso, en ceñida con cinco bordos en la bocana de Ceuta.

We had 13 boats join us this year for a spirited Happy Hour dinghy raft-up welcome party on our Bali 4.3 in Avalon, a gorgeous sail to Two Harbors, a Return to Gilligan’s Island-themed BBQ at Isthmus Yacht Club, and a “race” around the west end for a raft up in Cat Harbor. Many continued the journey back to Avalon exploring our So-Cal Mediterranean paradise before heading back to San Diego. Situated on around 1,100 meters above sea level and approximately 3 - 4 hour travel by foot from Denge Village. Wae Rebo is completely surrounded by panoramic mountains and the dense Todo forest. Outra playlist minha https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oE1xSofU3pg&t=177s Sou um aposentado que no dia 18/09/2024 completou 69 anos de idade e resido na cidade de Morrinhos, no Sul do Estado de Goiás. Separado, morando sozinho num pequeno barraco, com os filhos morando muito distante (dois no Canadá e a caçula em Paraty) já estava aceitando a vida sedentária. Fazia minhas cainhadas diárias e dançava eventualmente. O restante do tempo era ocupado com leitura, rede social e televisão. Em 2022 fui visitar seus filhos no Canadá e meu filho mais velho tinha comprado um pequeno veleiro para navegar no lago de Montreal. Então, num passeio nessa pequena embarcação, meu filho iniciou um diálogo mais ou menos assim: - Velho! Você já foi um grande aventureiro por que não faz mais uma aventura? - Que aventura, cara! – respondi. - Vir de Veleiro do Brasil até o Canadá. Você precisa sair de casa. Precisa de objetivos de vida. - Você está louco? Nunca naveguei e não tenho dinheiro para comprar um veleiro! – retruquei. - Você não tem uma Previdência Privada? - Sim. Tenho. Mas ela é para quando eu ficar velho. É para minha saúde – respondi. - Mas você já não está velho? (emitiu uma sonora gargalhada). Então você retira esse dinheiro e compra um veleiro. Comece a estudar, assistir vídeos e ler livros. Depois você vende o veleiro e repõe a grana. A sugestão do filho foi como um trauma mental para seu velho pai. A partir desse dia aprender sobre velas tornou-se minha obsessão. Tudo na na minha vida foi relacionado à navegação. Comecei a devorar livros e assistir todo tipo de vídeo no YouTube. No primeiro semestre de 2023 tirei a habilitação da Marinha para navegar em lagos (pré-requisito para as demais). No segundo semestre consegui a carteira de Mestre Amador e, finalmente, em abril de 2024, conseguiu a mais temida e difícil prova aplicada pela Marinha do Brasil: Capitão Amador. O material de estudo para essa prova foi enorme. Vários livros, apostilas, curso grátis no YouTube e sites pagos. Havia dias que o velho pensava que seria impossível passar na prova. Coisas estudadas era rapidamente esquecida pela memória sexagenária. A grana para compra do Veleiro estava resguardada. Era só esperar o momento oportuno. Entretanto, restava-me, ainda uma questão muito importante: equacionar os custos da viagem com sua pequena aposentadoria. A conclusão foi que a grana seria insuficiente, principalmente quando as despesas fossem em outra moeda. Para piorar, descobriu que chegando ao Canadá, seria muito difícil voltar no mesmo caminho, tendo em vista que existe uma corrente marítima contrária. O caminho de volta mais fácil teria que ser pela Europa e África. Ou seja, gastar em euros. O visto para entrada em cada ilha ou país corresponderá a um quarto da minha renda, sem contar comida, óleo diesel e manutenção no veleiro tudo em dólar ou Euro. Apesar dos estudos orçamentários indicar a inviabilidade do projeto, no dia 14/10/24 mudei para um veleiro adquirido na cidade de Salvador. O planejamento da viagem estima dois anos de vida ao mar, cujo planejamento pode ser verificado nos dois primeiros vídeos do canal “Veio Doido no Mar” no YouTube. Pretendo navegar pela costa brasileira, passar pelas Ilhas do Caribe, passar pelo Canadá, Europa e África. Em torno de 18 meses viajando.
