The pink is actually made up of once alive pink organisms that live in the seaweed nearby and wash up on the beach making the sand pink! Bayly's face is covered in anti foul after doing the bottom paint all day. Austin sands and primes our boat and it looks amazing. We sleep in the car in the shipyard over night while Austin waxes and polishes the boat. We are supposed to already be in Switzerland but we are running late with getting the boat ready. We get 50 plus knots of wind and it is too dangerous to sleep on the boat or work beside it on the hard. Lenny passes out in the car, loaded with everything we own. We pull an all nighter working on the boat, the painters tape wont come off. We run into issues with our polishing tool, and realize we need to come back to Spain after Switzerland. Starting our drive across Europe.

I changed oil for the first time on my sailboat engine a Yanmar 2 GM 20 diesel inboard.

Learning Guitar while working on my first Sailing song “Mysteries of the Sea” Total time practicing guitar is less than 2 months. I had began playing for about a month then had to take time off. So as you can tell my note a bit off, but that’s not a reason to quit. So this is a start of my melody for sailing. Let me know what you think. No I’m not offended by jokes or criticism. En voilier, on a régulièrement des problèmes, importants ou pas mais quand on en cumule une série cela devient très très dur !!! Nous quittons Cuba pour le Guatemala car c’est là-bas, hors zone cyclonique, que nous laissons Orion pour rentrer en Belgique cet été. Le vent s’annonce bon, la mer plutôt calme, mais nous risquons d’avoir une houle de travers de plus en plus importante durant nos 4 jours et 4 nuits de traversée. Les deux premières journées se passe très bien et puis la houle se lève, bien au travers, importante et cumulée à des vagues qui viennent frapper le bateau de manière très régulière et très rapprochées. Cela devient pénible, bruyant et désagréable. Et puis, suite à un gros coup de houle, en pleine nuit, le spi se déchire complètement de haut en bas ! Un bout d’environ 2 mètres traine dans l’eau sous le bout dehors et l’autre s’en va au vent, s’enroulant sur lui-même et autour des bouts de sa chaussette (sac de rangement). Tant bien que mal, nous parvenons à l’attraper en l’affalant et en lui sautant littéralement dessus pour le maîtriser. Ce n’était que le début des galères : casse d’une poulie et d’un boitier de latte de grand-voile, cumule de vagues et de houle de plus en plus fort, vent capricieux, presque plus de gasoil, courant quasiment de face jusqu’à 4,8 nœuds, panne d’AIS, et pour terminer des orages tout autour de nous durant plus de 5 heures ! Après 48h sans dormir, je crois que nous n’avons jamais été aussi heureux d’arriver à destination ! Et en effet, notre arrivée au Guatemala est complétement dépaysante, magique et majestueuse dans ce fameux Rio Dulce ! Quel bonheur !

Our last stop at Paxos, was on the west coast because we wanted to see what are called 'Blue caves'. They are special, because it's 3 coves connected to each other at the back, so you could swim from 1 cave to the other. They are truly hidden beauties. This is what we discovered when we took our GoPro with us which can also film underwater. We jumped from the swim plateau of the catamaran in the bright blue water which looked and felt like a swimming pool! We snorkeled our way to the first cave. In that cove, we swam to the backwall and entered the second cove. You could feel the floor of the ‘connection rock’ between the 2 coves. And the last cove was spectacular, almost luminous turquoise water and a high round ceiling with a hole in it, raised before our eyes.

In 2012 my GP found lumps in my neck. They did an ultrasound and found t tumors growing on my thyroid. They did a fn aspiration and confirmed they were cancerous. I did not want to do radiation or have it removed surgically so I started a raw vegan diet. 13 months on the diet and 4 of the 5 tumors were completely gone. Mayo was astounded. They thought they had the wrong images when they compared them. The 5th tumor was pushing on my trachea and made it hard to talk and swallow. I decided to let Mayo Clinic remove my thyroid, 2 of my 4 parathyroids and a dozen lymph nodes that the cancer had spread to. I wish I could turn back time and get my thyroid back. However, I am so thankful that I am a survivor and that the Lord has granted me more time to spread the gospel until he returns. Please help by sharing our channel. 💞

Wir besichtigen den Hafen von Valetta, sind wieder in der angenehmen Bucht Il Hora. Wir besuchen den pittoresken Hafen von Marsaxlokk, wo wir uns auch wieder von unseren Gästen trennen müssen. Here is the 2nd part of our circumnavigation of Malta. Dwejra Bay on Gozo surprises us not only with its beautiful anchorage, but also with the noise of the shearwater birds (also known as AUA birds). We visit the port of Valetta and are back in the pleasant bay of Il Hofra. We visit the picturesque harbor of Marsaxlokk, where we have to say goodbye to our guests again.
