Discover Temburong Cave, an impressive cave system located between Ipoh and Pangkor Island in the state of Perak. Four different tours of different lenghths are possible: the first 2 while staying dry and the next two where the return is made by walking, floating, swimming in the muddy river bed. This short video shows you the second dry tour. Filmed during one of the rare times early 2021 when it was possible to travel freely within the state.

First time for our two Irish setters to pull a sledge. One of the first training sessions with this equipment. We have done a lot of skiing trips earlier with them which helped a lot and they love to pull things! We used a light Scandinavian sledge ( called a ”Spark” )primarily made to transport one or two persons. This is what we had, so we made our own rope rigg and hoped for the best. During our sail, we discussed crewing with them on one of the legs that they had open during their sail from San Francisco to La Paz. Needless to say, we were fortunate enough to seize the opportunity and actually caught the longest voyage that anyone from the Cruisers Academy had completed to date. We sailed 16 days and 900 nautical miles encountering some of natures most magnificent sites along the way. The first repair on the motor pad and choc looks really good. It's very string and so thats given me the confidence to go ahead and repair the whole thing, so thats what we do first today. Next up we dry fit the Simrad TP10 Bracket and then fix the pin into it. Lastly with a bit of spare epoxy left over I make a brand new boat hook for Lulu as she hasn;t actually got one yet!!! We took a weeks charter on a Jeanneau Sun odyssey 47. From Athens. Stopping in at Áyia Marina, Methana, Póros, Ídhra, N. Khinitsa (for a swim), Navplion, Spétsai, Perdika, Angistri. Before returning to the base at Alimos Marina. It was the first week in October.
