This is from 2 dives in 2023, at our favorite dive site in the BVI. RMS Rhone was a UK Royal Mail Ship that sunk off the coast of Salt Island in 1867 when it was caught in a tail end of a category 3 hurricane. The wreck sits at a max depth of 85 feet and is the home of an abundance of marine life!

SAILING ILLUSTRATED #751 (Fri 13 Sep 2024) — The Resolute Cup was first run in 2010 as the U.S. Qualifying Series for the Rolex NYYC Invitational Cup. The biennial regatta, which is sailed out of New York Yacht Club-Harbour Court, has since developed an identity of its own. Yacht clubs from around the USA send their best amateur sailors to Newport to compete for national bragging rights and the possibility of a trip to next year's Invitational Cup, sailing's premiere international Corinthian big-boat regatta. All competitors must be both World Sailing Group 1 competitors (i.e., amateur sailors) and full members of the club they are representing. NYYC's Resolute Cup wraps up Saturday. Continuing my rehabilitation of a 1987 Precision 16 sailing dinghy by replacing the centerboard trunk’s wood trim with a piece of HDPE from TAP Plastics. During the repair, I also discovered some damage to the trailing edge of the centerboard which I repaired with JB Marine Weld epoxy. The Precision 16 is a lightweight Stephen Seaton-designed un-ballasted centerboard sailing dinghy with a planing hull manufactured from 1982 until the mid 90s. It was superseded in 1995 by the smaller Jim Taylor-designed Precision 15 (P-15CB and P-15K).
