Una vuelta por la pequeña y agradable isla de Carriacou, perteneciente a Granada y Las Granadinas. Recorrimos la isla parando en los lugares mas significativos, bonitas vistas y pueblecitos. Gentes muy agradables. Bajo el mar un sitio magnifico donde hacer Snorkel, sus aguas claras, están menos afectadas que las de Granada por las corrientes que arrastran sedimentos. Para los que vayáis al Caribe, el mejor sitio para parar si hace viento es Tyrrel Bay, si no mejor y mas tranquilo frente a Sandy Island. Si queremos conocer la islita no nos quedara mas que fondear cerca de la protegidas bahías, y tomar un taxi que por unos 180 EC$, te dan un paseo por toda la isla de un par de horas. Esta isla es mas seca al tener menos relieve montañoso llueve mucho menos que en Granada.

In this episode we hurry north towards Villanova Barcelona to see AC40 racing but on the way get som sporty waves turning our sidedeck into a river but we had time for a stop in a beautiful romantic anchorage before we continued to Puerto Roda de Barra next to Villanova where we have a berth during the races. Thanks to @SVBlownAway for information about the anchorage. We are a middle aged couple that has left our hectic business lives to go sailing with our sailboat Fridá af Wisby and our cat Litza. Our goal is sail the Mediterrainean Sea and really enjoy life. Anders has been at the sea most of his life and sailed for the Swedish national dingy sailing team as a young man. Gitte has also grown up with boats and spent every summer sailing with her father as a teenager. Onboard we also have our cat Litza a 4 year old Devon Rex we call her the cattain because cats always decide over their humans. One of the best parts about living on a boat is the access to nature. Seeing this pod of dolphins playing around us as we passed by in our dinghy was magical! I’m so glad we found Stephen Broadbridge who took us on a proper tour of Trinidad to see the leatherback turtles. The Annapolis Sailboat Show is a large in-water boat show held ever October. Hundreds of boats are packed into the water around the City Dock in downtown Annapolis. One of the most entertaining parts of the show is watching all this come apart within hours of the closing bell. About halfway through this timelapse, you'll watch one guy maneuver a 50 foot square dock with a tent on it, in 20 knot winds, with a single outboard, and park it neater than you can with you boat with a bow thruster.
