We are in Caribbean from December 2020 and it is always windy. More or less you have 20-25kn of wind every day. Sailing between the islands mostly on the beam reach, so going 9-10kn SOG is a casual sailing with first reef in the mainsail and full jib.

En février, nous sommes passées par le Lot-et-Garonne et nous avons joué 9 trous au golf d'Espalais : https://www.golfespalais.com/ Un accueil incroyable ! Le pro et Fabienne n'arrêtaient pas de rigoler en se faisant des blagues. Notre départ était à 13h30 et nous avions prévu un piquenique mais la jeune fille de l'accueil nous a installé dans une jolie petite pièce avec un bon feu de cheminée parce qu'il pleuvait ! Au practice, c'était super convivial, tout le monde se parlait dans tous les sens ! Un joli golf très agréable que nous recommandons.

COMPETITION A prize will be awarded to the "Best Dish" Rules Each crew shall prepare and present one dish only enough for 20 people to try. Complete commercial “just add meat/water/milk etc.” mixes are not permitted. Crews are to prepare and cook dishes in as sanitary a manner as possible. The Argyle is a secret coast that most folk pass on their way north missing some amazing spectacular things to see and do. This one is so close to the Western Ferries that most wizz past, it is a low-level walk and can easily be completed in two hours or longer with a picnic and time to admire the views. The scramble up the last part is safe and so well worth the views, you will need good walking shoes as the trees have recently been felled and it is a little uneven under foot. Back Surgery recovery is no joke, but luckily not too much happened between leaving Mass and getting to Florida other than a bunch of motor sailing and a trip to the ER in South Carolina because George was hurting so much.
