I sleep on the floor in a traditional Sasak hut with woven from bamboo, no walls, just air, and wake up to the perfect cone of Mount Rinjani glowing in the sunrise. We scooter to a stunning waterfall, watch men balance 60 kg rice sacks on their tiny bikes like it’s nothing, get a private tour of an organic farm and eat raw cacao beans straight off the cacao tree. Local women weave beautiful fabric right in front of me, we make our own lunch in a restaurant, and then the monsoon hits: in ten minutes we’re soaked to the bone, sliding through mud, laughing hysterically in the pouring rain. Cette boucle autour de la planète part et arrive à Barcelone (Espagne). Il s'agit d'un défi sportif extrême et d'une aventure océanique qui mettent les limites humaines à l'épreuve. Organisée par la Fondation Barcelonaise pour la Voile Océanique (FNOB), la régate fait partie du championnat du monde IMOCA Ocean Masters. Le départ de la course sera donné le 31 décembre 2014 à 13h00, avec une ligne de départ mouillée en face du W Barcelona hotel devant le port de la ville. Les premiers concurrents sont attendus à la fin du mois de mars 2015. Les bateaux parcourent 23 000 milles nautiques lors d'une circumnavigation de Barcelone à Barcelone, en laissant les caps de Bonne Espérance (Afrique du Sud), Leeuwin (Australie) et Horn (Chili) à bâbord (leur gauche) et l'Antarctique à tribord (leur droite). Pendant les trois mois de course, les skippers tracent leurs routes au milieu de 12 zones climatiques et traversent trois océans, en plus d'une navigation dans la mer Méditerranée. Les équipages naviguent sur des IMOCA 60 de 18,28 mètres de long. Leurs mâts peuvent atteindre une hauteur maximum de 29 mètres, soit la hauteur d'un immeuble de dix étages.

We recently held a launch event at The Spit, Mosman, to celebrate the arrival of Grady-White Boats in New South Wales. We took those in attendance on test drives around Sydney Harbour and asked them to share their opinions on the ride, comfort and style of the Grady-White range.

San Jose is absolutely one off the most beautifull towns I've seen. Very small but with so much to see. Mountains, diving, sea. I love it! I was very looking forward to have a shower after 20 rough hours at sea but the warm water was not working. Shit all over the toilets and no working wifi to upload my movies. So the harbor was a bit disappointing but the beautiful city made up for it :) And it is very nice to anchor in front so no worries there. Defenately worth a top with the boat.
