A quick technical breakdown of jib sheet lead angle and the function of the clue board. The hole you select on the clue board determines the vertical angle of the jib sheet. This angle controls the draft and twist of the sail by changing where the sheet's force is applied relative to the sail's center of effort. In short: The line from the block should lead roughly to the jib's center of effort for balanced trim on a given point of sail. Selecting the wrong hole will incorrectly flatten the foot or over-tighten the leech, hurting performance. Le Diam 24 marque le début d'une nouvelle ère sur le Tour de France à la Voile. Dans la droite ligne des bateaux précédents, le Diam 24 est un monotype mais il est le premier trimaran à être choisi comme bateau du Tour. The goal is simple. Work with the resorts and marinas to understand the needs of their employees; source and deliver the materials needed to get them back on their feet; and provide opportunities to pick up a shovel, a hammer, or a trowel and help our friends that need it most build their homes back up one brick at a time. Sailors Helping will provide information on fuel, water, safety and provisioning supplies so cruisers can get there safely and on to their next location without worry.
