This can several impact on engine efficiency. I clean ours once every to years when I remove and clean the mixer exhaust elbow but once in a while you need to take it off and send it to a service centre for a proper inspection, service and deep clean. Lezioni di Vela - Vento Forte - Regolazioni Fiocco - Episodio 12 Regolare il fiocco con vento forte è il tema del dodicesimo video-episodio di Scuola di VELA, in cui scopriamo come effettuare una manovra perfetta su una barca da crociera. Regolare il fiocco con vento forte, le opzioni l fiocco è essenziale per creare la forza propulsiva di avanzamento della barca mentre si naviga in andature strette, dal traverso alla bolina larga. Il fiocco è una vela poggiera, che bilancia l'azione della randa, orziera. L'azione combinata di fiocco e randa permettono di spostare il centro velico per avere una buona tenuta di rotta. Abbiamo visto in caso di vento forte come ridurre la randa nel recente video Ridurre le vele con vento forte. Per mantenere la barca bilanciata, anche il fiocco deve essere ridotto e ci sono diverse possibilità: Smagrire il fiocco arretrando il carrello, per mantenere al massimo le prestazioni si può utilizzare anche un barber Per i fiocchi rollabili da crociera, avvolgere parzialmente il fiocco con il rollafiocco e regolare il carrello. 126' Christensen Tri-Deck Motor Yacht, SEA BEAR was expertly built by Christensen Shipyard and finished with the highest quality materials. In 2011, she had a complete exterior paint job at Rolly Marine, new teak decks, and Navy blue window line. In 2009/10 she underwent an extensive $2M complete mechanical refit that included a new micro-command system and a major engine overhaul. Her interior was completely renovated with all new soft goods, furnishings, headliner, fixtures, etc., along with upgraded electronics and watertoys. Her layout features a four stateroom layout including two full-width King staterooms, one on-deck and one below, each with his/her marble bath. There are two guest staterooms with queen beds and ensuite marble baths, along with forward crew quarters separated from yacht. Her spacious interior is finished in Brazilian Honey teak joinery with gold, stainless steel, stone of onyx, galaxy granite and European fabrics. Powered by Detroit Diesel 12V-92's and 7500 gallons of fuel SEA BEAR has transatlantic range and has completed two crossings on her own bottom. Additional equipment includes triple Northern Light generators, Naiad stabilizers, bow thruster, and 1400 GPD watermaker.

** NOW SOLD ** Built in France in 2008,'Koh Racha' is a recently upgraded Lagoon 420. Incredibly well-specified from the factory and currently located in Sydney Harbour, this Lagoon 420 has been beautifully kept and constantly upgraded. Powered by near new twin Yanmar 39hp diesels with near new SD60 sail drives, both fitted in 2021 and with only 170 hrs. In 2019 she was also upgraded with Raymarine sailing instrumentation including Plotter, Autopilot and DSC VHF. She has a very good and current cruising sail inventory, including an asymmetrical spinnaker. "Koh Racha "is an incredibly safe, comfortable blue water cruising catamaran. Her volume is incredible, and as the three-cabin version, her entire port hull is dedicated to her owner. Her bright saloon hosts a sizeable L-shaped galley and a very comfortable dinette that quickly transforms into a large internal. Her starboard hull has two very good-sized cabins, each with an ensuite, and her cockpit is light-filled and very comfortable. She easily has the highest volume 42' catamaran on the market.

Makassar to Manado via Tana Toraja and the Togian islands

This week aboard Stella Overboard, boat life throws a few more problems our way. From discovering the main pin holding our boom to the mast had started working its way out, to watermaker issues, outboard problems, lazy jack repairs, and the never-ending reality of fixing things in remote places… this episode is a pretty accurate look at what cruising life is really like. Luckily, we’ve learned that sailing is mostly about figuring things out with what you have, carrying as many spares as possible, doing a little creative jimmy-rigging, searching the internet, and accepting help from the amazing people you meet along the way. But after everything that breaks on the boat, somehow the biggest disappointment of the week comes when we think we’ve finally hooked a fish… only to pull up something VERY different 😂 We’re also continuing our journey north through Indonesia, getting closer and closer to Malaysia while trying to squeeze in a few more waves before we leave.
