A cross-over between their larger luxury sport cruisers and their more nimble outboard line, they call her the Regal 38 XO. She is a dual cabin sport cruiser powered by triple Yamaha 300-hp outboards.

Things are about to get a little tight in the bedroom. It's time to get back to building!! And you guessed it....more toilet talk!, lol. Not too much this week, but since we have figured out where we want the toilet, it's time for Matt to build a base for it, which will let us begin the steps for cabinets and counters in that space soon. Another older project we visit again is finally closing off the chamfered area in our forward v-berth, with the piece of foam Matt had fit to the area a few weeks earlier. Once that is in, we can begin thinking of the finishes we'd like for the ceiling and overhead - and look into fairing anything which won't have a liner. Lastly, it's time to bond in the frame to the aft bunks. With the lower bulkheads in place and properly spaced out to eventually place our diesel engines in the area, as well as having a lifting center to get access to them, we can bond the outer ring of the frame in place. The weather is literally close to freezing in the rest of the boat, but thanks to our radiator heaters we're able to keep it nice and steamy in the bedroom for some bonding. We hope you enjoy! In this episode we set sail from Africa for the 300 Nm passage to Ibiza and Formentera. There were storms reported for our passage a few days before we left from Melilla, but the lates reports before we left were all fine. In the end we ended up with no winds at all for the most part. Safe sailing. Boat: White Shadow is a Van De Stadt ‘Seal’ 36 (11 metres). She is hand made in steel, 2004, with a round bilge (hull) and a modified coach roof. This makes her a ‘one off’ and in my opinion the most beautiful Van De Stadt 36 ever built. The camera gear: Main camera is a Panasonic Hc- V700 with a Rode External mic with a sponge and dead kitten attached. Action, underwater scenes and small blogging is done with two Osmo action cams. Some boat shots are done with a Dji gimbal camera. Editing: Final cut pro on a Macbook. Most of the material for each video is filmed over a period of several weeks or so and the editing of each episode is normally done over a day. This process can take longer if original music is used or permissions are needed for copyrighted materials etc. Much time is spent sorting out technical problems. In this case I normally get the help of a younger person who understands computerie stuff! There are also times when filming, editing and uploading is not possible due to being at sea or in locations with no internet access. Content: I have found that filming and releasing material over a period of time is better than doing ‘vlog’ style videos and trying to make episodes out of whats happened in a week, regardless if it’s good content or not. By filming over a period of time I can be more selective in what goes into each video. My aim is to avoid ‘bland and mundane’ and have at least one or two exciting and interesting events in every video. Every video has to be entertaining. Comments and being at sea: I love reading your comments. Most weeks Im able to read everyone. I cant reply to everybody but I do read and enjoy them. Keep them coming! There are times that It might seem I'm not on the internet for certain periods, this is normally when Im at sea on passage. While Im out on the Ocean I have completely no communications with the outside World. During the installation, Ryan realizes that 2 years ago went our mast came down, our VHF cable and TV cables had been accidentally swapped, causing both our VHF and AIS to not function properly. Installing the new AIS helped us figure it out, and we now have a AIS transponder and a VHF radio that works great! We sailed from Guadaloupe to Antigua in the Caribbean, a place with soooo many super yachts and different boats. It was amazing to see all these incredible boats. Friends in this episode: @VeleiroLiberdade @MJSailing @kricketscreations7230 We are Duca and Roberta, a Brazilian couple that during a sabbatical trip in 2016 decided to follow our dream. So, we created "Odd Life Crafting", a project composed of many smaller projects that we call seasons. The first one was the creation of Odd Life Crafting. The idea was to build a metal boat to be able to travel the world taking our house with us, but we didn't have money for that. So, we started the next season: we built a tiny shipping container house with no prior experience in building to gain some skills to build a boat. When we were almost finished we found a boat 700km away from our hometown that was neglected for over 22 years and we spent 2 years refitting her (Season 3). The last season has been a dream coming true… we are exploring the Brazilian coast with OUR BOAT that we called Odd.. But wait? What happened to the house?
