En este video cruzo a la preciosa isla de Menorca desde Mallorca. Han sido unos días muy agradables en Mallorca, con los amigos del Mekatxis, con Ana, con la tripu del Salgari... pero vuelvo a estar solo y abordo el cruce. Partiendo del puerto de Soller, comienzo el cruce. En la primera parte vientos suaves acompañan al Ambroz en su travesía hacia el noreste, pero cuando llegamos al canal de Menorca, el viento sube de intensidad a fuerza 4-5, y el mar pasa a marejada lo que nos hace ir muy rápido. Llego a Cala Amarrador en la costa oeste de Menorca donde paso un noche incómoda por el mar que entra en la cala, pero al día siguiente amanece y sigo mi travesía hacia el este, para finalmente arribar a la bahía de Fornels, donde me refugio durante dos días de la tramontana. 😱 L'IMPENSABLE : De l'eau dans le moteur ! Tout allait pourtant parfaitement bien... Après plusieurs mois de stockage, le moteur de Vagabond avait redémarré au quart de tour. Vive Yanmar ! Nous étions en plein préparatifs : améliorations, rangement, entretien et réfection des ombrières de la timonerie. Mais quand Tom a décidé de faire l’entretien de routine, le rêve a basculé. Au moment de démarrer : le moteur est bloqué. Le diagnostic tombe et il est terrifiant : le moteur est rempli d'eau. Comment est-ce possible ? D’où vient cette infiltration ? Quels sont les dégâts réels sur les pistons et les cylindres ? En quelques minutes, nous sommes passés de l’enthousiasme à la stupeur. C'est officiellement notre pire moment depuis que nous avons notre "nouveau Vagabond". J'ai franchement cru que notre voyage s'arrêtait là parce que nous n'avons pas le budget pour de gros frais extraordinaires comme un remplacement du moteur... Neil and Jeanette are sailing on their Beneteau 473 through the Bahamas. Going downwind in low wind conditions and Neil trying different sail combinations to pick up more breeze.

We have wired the radio and amp to the ATV correctly, turns off and on the the ignition. We redid the factory wiring to the battery, the dealer I bought this from had cut the battery rings that went to the battery, and there was very little metal holding it. We also put a fuse in between the battery and the radio, the frame on the ATV is not grounded, but I feel the protection will not hurt. The 6 inch sub does not produce enough bass for when the ATV is running, or if it is outside, it would be fine for bookshelf speakers in a small room, but does not work well in this application. We did just order the Pioneer TSW261D4 10inch subwoofer, it has been along time since I have used Pioneer, but when reading the specs it seems like a nice sub. The Chinese LED lights are really bright, much more light than what the 4-wheeler had before, will have more videos showing them. Bronenosec Sailing showed some serious interest in the title after putting in some good scores on day two of the RC44 Marstrand World Championship. Vladimir Liubomirov steered the blue boat to victory in the first race of the day, sailed in about 8 to 10 knots of westerly wind. A sixth in the next race was not so special but Bronenosec surged into the lead of the third race of the day, only to let it slip to Artemis Racing on the final run to the finish.
