Artemis Racing scored a second the first heat of the day and followed that up with a race win and a fourth in the final heat - race six of the scheduled 12-race series. While Igor Lah’s CEEREF continues to lead the regatta with Artemis second overall - up four places after day one - and Bronenosec Sailing Team third, the ranking is now very tight with the top-four boats covered by just two points. We sail up to Houhora Harbour and watch a man catching a shark, then zip up to Cape Reinga and back down to Whangaroa Harbour for some exploring. We are a family of six who are taking some time out of normal life to travel. We’ve pulled the kids from school and are home schooling while on the road and the water. We spend time aboard our 34ft sailing boat in NZ and have bought a camper in Europe so as to tour the other side of the world. We’re keeping our memories on video here and the kids write narration and play guitars so we have music to use in the videos.

This is the extended version of Samapaguita's, a Pacific Seacraft Flicka 20, mast lowering. It's a first-person view and live. It doesn't capture the entire rig, but it does show how the bridle (not bridal😒) keeps the boom and mast centered. And it shows an easy and controlled descent.
