Chief Esrom and the small community of Bul Bul, next to Lambinwen, in South West Bay in Malekula invited all BPO yachts to visit the. We went with them by church boat on the “lake” to get to the gardens where we picked up some nice fresh fruits and vegetables. Back at the church, we were surprised to be invited for a nice local lunch in Chief Esrom house. Since many of the BPO sailors are volunteer trained specialists in vision screening and members of the H.I.T. supporter team, we offered free eye testing to young and old. They lead all investigations to the best of their knowledge and belief. Participants are thus able to carry out visual acuity and autorefractor provisions under screenings conditions to children and adults. The project of H.I.T. Foundation: “SAVE CHILDREN’S SIGHT FOR A BETTER CHANCE IN LIFE” is able to detect visual defects of children, adolescents and young adults at an early stage. Approximately 20% of all children and young people have learning difficulties by undetected visual defects. Only if visual defects are detected and rectified early, children have good opportunities for learning, performance and a self-determined successful future. Some disclaimers: ˚ The H.I.T. vision screening is available, if there are no other or better options for vision correction onsite. ˚ The H.I.T. vision screening is as accurate as possible under the local circumstances. However, it does not measure up to the precise measurements taken and handled by an optician, optometrist or ophthalmologist in a professional environment! ˚ Therefore, neither the local examiner nor the H.I.T. Bought the famous slippers here. Chandra Gupta Moriah who was the founder of the Moriah Empire. I visited the town of Rokhri, his birthplace. I had a lot of fun here but due to lack of time I could not get around the city completely. If I get a chance, I will go on a tour of this city again. They enjoy sailing their inflatable sailboat on Devil's Lake and are excited to travel with their portable sailboat. They find it fun and easy to use, taking only 20 minutes to set up. They were surprised by its strength and rigidity, as well as its sensitivity due to its light sailboat nature. A funny incident occurred when the delivery person was surprised to be delivering a sailboat. They recall a time they had a blast sailing in strong winds. Beth expresses interest in participating in a Tiwal championship race.

The BEST city to visit in all of Guatemala is Antigua. Steeped in history, it is also rich in architecture, language, education, and culinary delights. We spent a week in this amazing place and it was not nearly enough. But, when you are offered a return flight to the Rio Dulce from Guatemala City, you jump on it. This is part II of adventures with Ted and Gail. The first time we flew with them was to Eleuthera in the Bahamas. The water was spectacular to see from the air, but so are the mountains! We have much to learn as we travel the world on our floating home and we intend to document that journey and share it with you.
