Empezamos la visita y a primera vista ya nos damos cuenta de que las fotos no son actuales. Los techos están todos con marcas de haberse mojado y los barnices están dañados. Eso sí, el camarote de popa está muy bien. En el anuncio pone que tiene aire acondicionado. Primeramente el generador no está en su sitio, por lo que solo valdría para el pantalán, pero es que el aire acondicionado no funciona y han desmontado gran parte de los conductos. Me parece increíble que te hagan viajar desde 1275km con unas fotos falsas. Es fácil saber que el cliente no te va a comprar el barco y que se va a agarrar un cabreo monumental...

We drive from Bavaria into Italy and spend some time the stunning Dolomite Mountains before heading down into the heat of Venice for a quick stop. We spend time aboard our 34ft sailing boat in NZ and have bought a motorhome in Europe so as to tour the other side of the world. We’re keeping our memories on video here and the kids write narration and play guitars so we have music to use in the videos.

The Exuma Islands were such a sanctuary for us, at least before things went down. We are still in March, 2020, and Bahamas is still a comfortable place to be for cruisers. Alex and Cory have become family, and as every family around the world these days, we do everything together! We leave Highbourne Cay and set sail for Norman's Cay to explore Pablo Escobars drug smuggling airplane from the 1970's, before heading into the national park and Shroud Cay for a superfun dinghy adventure across to the Atlantic Ocean. Our world is currently full of fish, turtles and sharks - blue skies, crystal clear water and silky sand. What a life! Little did we know of what was to come, but we had heard a little bit about the worlds development and we kept our distance to people and land with very few exceptions. So going to shore during our dinghy adventure was our first experience with social distancing. We quickly got back on/in the water though!! Le Tortue 147 ne ressemble décidément pas vraiment à un multicoque de série… Ce catamaran-concept, apologie de la slow life, affiche en effet un design et des aménagement absolument uniques, avec sa nacelle qui rappelle une carapace de tortue, ses grands hublots façon vitraux, son siège de table à cartes suspendu et sa distribution des cabines qui rappelle celle d’un petit chalet de montagne. Même ambiance surprenante à l’arrière, où un modeste balcon suspendu tient lieu de cockpit. On est évidemment impressionné par les vitrages intégrés façon diamant au fond de la nacelle, pour finir la visite à peine surpris par la présence d’une belle plante verte dont la découpe du pot a été prévue dès la construction… Cette dernière, justement, a été assurée en Tunisie : elle adopte l’aluminium semi-épais pour une résistance optimale aux impacts. La carène présente deux spécificités : un bulbe est greffé sur chaque étrave de façon à amortir le tangage, et les élancements sont particulièrement importants à l’arrière. Strangford sailing club held the 3rd and final race of the 2021 Narrows Regatta under sunny skies with 4 to 14 knots of breeze from the north north east. The team on Animal were in pole position to tack the series after a posting a 1st and a 2nd in the heats 1 & 2. The local boats would be pushing hard to see if they could end the series on a high. While first place looked to be locked in there was plenty to play for with four or 5 boats still in contention for a podium place. ► The competition took placed in Port Ginesta located just 15 minutes from Barcelona. This port has grown to become a leading catamaran marina all over Europe. The event was organized in two stages with a test which started on Saturday, a short leg of one mile, and continue Sunday with a long race. Six multihulls registered for this first edition: 1 C-Cat 48, 1 Catana 431 and 1 Catana 582, 1 Fountaine Pajot Belize 43, 1 Dragon Fly 920 Evolution and 1 Nautitech 40 Open. The Multihull Rally & Race has been supported by the main multihull distributors in Spain: Catamarans Barcelona (Lagoon), Med Cat Group (Bali), Hermanos Guasch (Excess) and Catamaran Center (Catana). Also, Pedro Egea, from Catamaran Center, contributed with his Powercat Philysa that hosted the regatta committee. Even thought, we had few winds knots all the participants were happy and enjoyed this amazing experience. In addition to the sporting and participatory aspect of this event, the social feature should not be forgotten. Thanks to the organization of dinners animated by music, all the participants were able to spend a nice moment of relaxation and fun. Week-end de Pentecôte, C'est parti pour le Rallye Normandie Cup au départ du Havre.😃 C'est avec grand plaisir et un peu d'appréhension que nous partons le vendredi soir pour rejoindre les participants du Rallye organisé par Julien Lebas, Maitre du port au port de plaisance du Havre. Et pour cause, nous avons un vent avec des rafales à 30 nœuds d'annoncé et une houle de 1.5m avec une période de 5s sur Ouistreham. La chance c'est que nous avons le vent dans le dos, c'est la raison pour laquelle nous ferons route juste avec le génois pour éviter les empannages sauvages. Nous sommes heureux d'arriver vers 00H30 au ponton d'accueil, mais il faut encore attendre le passage de l'écluse de 1H30 pour pouvoir dormir tranquillement dans le port. Le Samedi est une journée assez tranquille coté navigation car nous resterons sur le canal de Caen. Par contre la météo annoncée pour le lendemain nous fait changer nos plans. Le vent et la houle annoncé le dimanche après-midi nous persuade de partir le Dimanche matin au plus tôt. Le retour vers le Havre se fera au près avec un courant de face. Nous arriverons vers 13H30 avec la surprise de pouvoir s'amarrer au pontons des régates, ce qui nous permettra d'être au plus près de l'endroit où nous passeront la soirée. Nous passons l'après-midi à la plage avec une bonne glace au goûter. Puis une super soirée organisée par le SNPH avec un bon repas.
