A report from the first day of the DF65 DragonForce 2023 UK National Championships held by Keighley & District MES at Weecher Resrvoir in July of 2023. The DF65 or "DragonForce" model yacht is the a popular one design model racing yacht with an active racing circuit in the UK. Popular in local clubs, this boat provides an ideal introduction to Model Yacht Racing and can be raced all the way up to international Level More details of the DF65 or DragonForce can be found by checking out some of our other videos which go into some detail but basically the boat is a mass produced, off the shelf model yacht that is raced as a one design class, all boats are technically the same and available at low cost, which provides close and competitive racing. Radio Sailing (Model yacht racing) is a competitive form of yacht racing run along similar lines to dinghy racing and keelboat racing.

This video shows you some possibilities for sailing to Bahia de Concepcion from Marina Puerto Escondido aboard a West Coast Multihulls charter catamaran. A five day trip is a little rushed, but still super fun and there is enough time to see the sights, snorkel, fish, and enjoy sailing. Take 6 days if you want a little more leisurely pace. West Coast Multihulls currently (Fall 2021) has 2 catamarans to charter in Marina Puerto Escondido and 2 catamarans based in La Paz. The La Paz boats can be delivered to MPE if you want to charter either one of those boats to visit Bahia Concepcion.
