How many things can go wrong with a carb?! Don’t ask or the problems will never end haha.. In this video I show you an issue with the low speed jet plug, the elbow on the carb that inserts into the fuel line, water in the bowl, how to tell when the float is stuck, how to keep the motor from flooding again, and how to take apart and then install the carb. I call the jets “low speed” and “high speed” but you could also call them pilot and main, respectively. Low speed is in charge for idle-20% throttle and high speed is the rest. Thanks to Ellis on the S/V Booby Trap for first showing me how to clean a carb, and to my dad for helping me tweak the carb frame when he was in town.
