Comme il ne faisait pas très chaud ce jour-là, Jérôme et Audrey ont décidé de profiter du temps frais pour s'occuper un peu. Plutôt que de rester à bord à ne rien faire, ils sont partis visiter le port en annexe, histoire de changer d’air et de découvrir les environs. De retour sur leur catamaran, ils en ont profité pour faire un peu d'entretien. Ils ont notamment remplacé les drisses du chariot de grand-voile afin qu’il coulisse plus facilement. Un petit ajustement bienvenu pour améliorer la manœuvrabilité. Jérôme, toujours bricoleur, s’est attaqué à un autre petit souci : il a fabriqué une pièce en métal pour bloquer la barre à roue. L’objectif ? Empêcher qu’elle ne tourne toute seule quand le bateau est en marche arrière, un problème assez courant sur ce type d’embarcation. Grâce à son système, la barre reste désormais bien en place, même lors des manœuvres les plus délicates.

Ich bespreche die Vor- und Nachteile jedes Boots und erzähle euch, was bei einem Restaurationsprojekt auf mich zukommen könnte. Bonjour voici la dernière étape de la pose de notre déssalinisateur Simplewater, et la plus importante. La mise en test sous pression. après une petite fuite sur une connexion, nous avons commencé à remplir notre cuve. a fonctionne. La première étape était sans pompe de gavage mais le groupe Haute pression se mettait régulièrement en sécurité selon la gîte du bateau....Pas l'idéal quand on est sur un voilier..... Nous avons doc commandé la pompe de gavage et installée sur le déssalinisateur, au niveau de l'arrivée d'eau de mer. tout fonctionne, c'est super! quel bonheur de ne plus courir après l'eau des que nous nous arrêtons. We sailed from Spanish Wells to Great Abaco through Little Harbour Cut, and it turned into one of the best sailing days we had all season. The winds were light, but with our new Ullman Sails Code 0 we were able to sail the entire 50+ nautical mile passage without needing to motor. Without it, we likely would have been motor sailing or making 1–2 knots less speed the whole way. The sea state was incredible, the boat was perfectly balanced, and it ended up being one of those rare passages where everything just comes together. Sometimes the light wind days turn out to be the best sailing days. This was definitely one of them given our newest sail...otherwise we'd need to motor sail or we'd end up going 1-2kt slower.
