Malaysia's Khairulnizam Mohd Afend finished fifth in the Laser Radial Boys at the ISAF Youth Sailing World Championships and is now competing in the Laser amongst some of the best sailors in the world at the Weymouth and Portland International Regatta, the Olympic Test Event. As part of his preparations for the Fastnet in August, Multimarine Director Simon entered his Dazcat 1150 in Yealm Yacht Club's annual Trebeurden Race, the first time multihulls have been invited to compete.
