At the end of part 3, the side-panels, bow and stern transoms, and bottom were all dry-fitted. Today the whole thing got taken apart and then put back together with an epoxy/fumed silica/wood flour glue. All the joining surfaces are primed with straight epoxy, and then one side gets hit with the thickened mix. I like to work in small batches with a long open time. This ensures chemical bonding between all the epoxy, and very little waste!

But my daughter and I got the bow transom dry-fitted and trimmed and we bent on a full sheet of 3/8" ACX for a dry fit of the bottom. We used #10 1 inch s.s. screws. for the dry fit, and they'll also serve as clamps when we glue the bottom in place. One the epoxy is set, the screws can be backed out and filled, or simply left in place.

Per PCB's suggestion in "Boats with an Open Mind", I've given her a flat run aft. We'll mount a small outboard on her, and with a necklace of fenders she'll make a fine tug, utility launch, and tender for our anchorage!
