One hundred and fifty yachts were built and launched over the ensuing years. Today the Farr 1020 is a recognised National Keelboat class in New Zealand. While most Farr 1020s are located in the North Island of NZ, a number can be found further south and also in Australia, USA, Pacific Islands and in the Northern Hemisphere. This is a small sample of some static scenes we filmed on Mopion, a tiny deserted island in the Southern Grenadines just off the coast of Petit St Vincent and South of Union Island. It is well known for its signature palm tiki hut and pristine sand. Surrounded by turquoise water and beautiful reefs for snorkeling make this tiny island one of very large appeal to all sailors that cross its path.

I did a search online and found some information on the Beckson Website on how to remove and install a port. I thought it would be helpful for others to show how we removed and replaced the ports in our boat. These ports were not leaking when we bought the boat, but clearly had at some point in the past, given the rotted decorative wooden panels on the coach roof walls. In an effort to replace those rotted wooden panels, we had to remove our ports, and then reinstall them when the work was complete. I hope you find this video helpful.
