Spirit Yachts Classic Sailboats at the 27th Antigua Classic Regatta 2014... ...the 27th Antigua Classics Regatta was blessed with some of the most exciting racing ever seen at this event, 25-28 knot trade winds and 2-3 metre rolling seas producing demanding but truly exhilarating sailing. The Spirits taking part ranged in size from a 42ft Gaff rigged ketch to a 76ft Bermudian sloop and were rewarded with a clutch of 'firsts' and a new legion of follows and admirers. The whole regatta fleet this year was an extra-ordinary gathering of yachts from all over the world, for a celebration of sailing which has often been described as 'the best Classic regatta in the world'. During the following four days of racing the Spirit Fleet bathed in glorious Caribbean weather. Magnificent performances came from NAZGUL of Fordell, the Spirit 76, who triumphed over the mighty J Class RAINBOW to win the overall Spirit of Tradition class for the week and from CHLOE, another Spirit 52, who took third overall in the same class. The Mount Gay Trophy, awarded for the winner of the most competitive class was also won by the Sean McMillan designed Spirit 76, NAZGUL of Fordell. www.spirityachts.com

Hey everyone, here is week 2 of my video blog. We did some open water swimming, standup paddling, and more training in the gym. The water and weather has been amazing so we got to see some manatee, a ton of fish, and plenty of sunshine. The only thing I could ask for are some waves. Da oggi a tutti gli effetti barca d'autore. Ospitati per il secondo anno successivo dai Cantieri Navali Antonio Battaglini di Marina di Campo e sostenuti dai Cantieri Navali Lavinia, abbiamo costruito un piccolo set pittorico nel quale Leonardo ha potuto esibirsi in questo micro-evento-performance che lo ha tenuto occupato due giorni.
