Every wonder what an anchor looks like underwater when its setting? Here is a segment on setting the anchor in sand in the Bahamas. We find the Rocna sets very quickly and holds very well. It just works - and works very well.

Today finds me grateful at end of a long day for having a beautiful beach nearby to walk in the sand and sea and just watch the sunset while letting all the stress of the day slip by.. awesome. It is a lap of the globe starting and finishing in Barcelona (Spain). This is an extreme sporting challenge and ocean adventure that puts human limits to the test. Organised by the Fundació Navegació Oceànica Barcelona (FNOB), the regatta is part of the IMOCA Ocean Masters World Championships. The start of the race is on the 31st of December 2014 at 13h00, with the starting line positioned opposite the W Barcelona hotel at the city's port. The finishes are forecasted for the end of March 2015. The boats cover some 23,000 nautical miles in a circumnavigation from Barcelona to Barcelona, putting the capes of Good Hope (South Africa), Leeuwin (Australia) and Horn (Chile) to port (their left) and the Antarctic to starboard (their right). During the three months of racing the skippers make their way through 12 climate zones and cross 3 oceans, as well as sailing in the Mediterranean Sea. The "Race for Water Odyssey" (R4WO) arrived in Horta, in the archipelago of the Azores on March 20th. The expedition implemented its scientific protocol for the first time on 5 of the island's beaches. These beaches act as natural barriers against plastic pollution, trapping and accumulating trash on their shores, and are therefore representatives of plastic pollution in the surrounding waters. Snow, ice and hail. The Southern Ocean is living up to its name. Today the fleet passed the most remote ocean point on earth - so here’s a quick refresher on how we’re actually able to communicate with the teams in these extreme locations.
