I returned to Bodrum to see the progress being made on the 155' single masted sloop "TROY". This time I found many of the hydraulic systems had been fitted and tested, but I was also pleasantly surprised to meet Jesper Bank, two time Olympic gold medal winner and owner of Elvstrom Sails.

The Volvo Ocean Race marks a sad anniversary today. Nine years ago, Dutchman Hans Horrevoets, 32, of ABN AMRO TWO, was washed overboard at night on the New York to Portsmouth leg of the 2005-06 race and became the fifth sailor to die at sea in the history of the event.

As the fleet takes off on leg 7, we take a look back on the incredible start in Newport and the difficulties the sailors are facing in the Atlantic Ocean.

As many of you may already know my mother is currently undergoing treatment for her second form of cancer. My godmother, who we all call Auntie Cathy is currently very, VERY ill with it and Izzys god mother, Auntie Jenny, has also recently been diagnosed with it as well. So as you can tell this is a cause that is very close to our hearts in the Foxwell family. So just for a change here is a short film of this Sunday's activities, a fun run in Rochester high street, organised by the Race for Life charity with the aim of raising money for cancer research. A good time was had by us and the literally thousands of people that attended so hopefully a lot of money was also raised to fight the cause.

That's a wrap in terms of the daily updates, but stay tuned - there's a whole heap more of radness from Levi set to drop. Australian Sailing Squad’s Jake Lilley (QLD) finished in overall eighth and second ranked Junior at the 2015 Finn Junior and Senior European Championships, which finished in Split, Croatia on Sunday, 17 May. It is Lilley’s best performance in a World or European Championship so far. 71 sailors from 28 nations and five continents had entered the first major championship of the year with Australian Sailing Squad’s Jake Lilley and Oliver Tweddell (VIC), who finished 31st, representing Australian Sailing.
