We finish the weekend cruise, I check out how my new rain catcher works and stay tuned for a little flashback video at the end!

We sail from St George's in Grenada to Prickly Bay and Adam shows of our (patent pending) boat selfie stick. When we arrive, we see that it is possibly the busiest anchorage we've ever been to! After finding a small spot to anchor, we head to the marine chandleries on shore and pick up a new addition to our fridge/freezer system. The next day, we take a sight seeing expedition to Seven Sisters Waterfall's and end up blindly wandering around the mountains for half the day trying to find it... We do eventually find it however and spend the afternoon bathing, laughing and frolicking* in the waterfall pools. *may not include physical frolicking In the days following, we have an afternoon sail on the Seidelman 37, Brighteyes, and head back to St George's then on to Carriacou (getting smashed along the way) in preparation for getting our boat hauled out. DIY HEART HAND CARD (00:51) - red construction paper - pencil or pen - scissors Fold construction paper in half. Place your hand or a baby's hand on the folded edge of the paper so you thumb and index finger are on the fold (these will be your heart points, do not cut); trace around your hand. Cut out the hand but NOT the ends of your thumb / index finger on the folded edge. Preheat the oven to 400˚F. Lightly coat a cake pan with nonstick cooking spray. 2. Make the berry filling: Mix the raspberries, granulated sugar and grapefruit zest in a bowl; set aside. 3. Make the cream filling: With a mixer on medium speed, be a the cream cheese, confectioners' sugar and milk until smooth. 4. Make the rolls: Unroll the pizza dough on a cutting board. Pat to make sure it's even. Spread the cream cheese filling on top of the dough, stopping 1 inch away from the edges. Top with the berry filling, leaving the same gab around the edges. 5. Roll of the dough into a log and cut into 2-inch-thick rounds. Arrange in the prepared pan and brush with melted butter. Bake until puffed and golden, about 15 minutes. 6. Meanwhile, whisk the confectioners' sugar and grapefruit soda in a bowl until smooth. 7. Remove the rolls from the oven and let cool in the pan at least 5 minutes. Top with the glaze. Sailboat Water Tank Repair, Chain Locker modification, and Head Maintenance! All DIY + Final Details of Sailboat Tour Valiant 40 - the Details with Blue water Sailboat Tour and Sailing Tips. Patrick Childress, another one of his sailing videos...discusses the chain locker modification we made on Brick House to get the weight of the anchor chain down low, and further aft. Then, after we found that our fresh water tanks were leaking, he shows how to fix water tanks by painting them rather than by replacing them, using just epoxy and paint.. Repairing the Water tank on our sailboat, instead of water tank replacement saved us a lot of money. Patrick then discusses how many people have problems with the heads on their sailboat when really with some simple sailboat Head maintenance tips problems could be solved and the marine head repaired easily. Many sailboat heads squeak, leak and don’t pump properly, but Patrick Childress shows you how to maintain a toilet on a sailboat, and repair a sailboat Head so it pumps easily and doesn’t leak, by taking it apart and lubricating it. Marine toilet maintenance is of utmost importance when cruising! One must learn how to maintain a sailboat Head or pay the price. Patrick also presents an alternative material he used for the Headliner replacement (ceiling). Then Rebecca gives a quick tour of marine electronics on onboard our cruising sailboat. Now that we've made it into the Florida Keys, we've stopped at the Coral Bay Marina on Islamorada. We're able to finish working on our boat and have some fun with family. Our first project is to install our custom swim platform and underwater lights. We also manage to have some fun when both Moms and Jessie's sister visit. We head to Sombrero Beach, The Turtle Hospital and John Pennekamp Coral Reef State Park. The work continues but the adventure just begins. We are Shawn, Jessie, Mojo and Voodoo. We started our Youtube channel, Big Easy Sailing, to document our journey on our 1972 Gulfstar 36 sailboat. Sailing to Ontong Java has long been a dream of mine. It is one of the most remote places you can go. Many small children there had never seen a white person and were shy but fascinated by us. We spent a couple of weeks anchored beside the tiny village of Pelau and got to spend some amazing days with the locals. An experience I shall never forget. Ever wondered how to paint the bottom of a sailboat with antifouling?? After 5 weeks of back breaking work we’re on the home stretch. We start off by sandblasting Delos’s bottom to take her back to the gel coat. After applying 3 coats of epoxy primer it’s time to spray on our new silicon based experimental antifouling paint- SeaSpeed VX 10. It takes about 2 gallons of paint and an airless sprayer to get the job done. Ran is anchored in False Creek, Vancouver in Canada and one morning we wake up to something crashing in to us. Beside from pushing away boats in the anchorage we explore the city by bike, walk in Granville Market and visit Mustang Survival that make PFD's and foul weather gear. We are a Swedish couple who wanted a different kind of life.
