Prepare sterile water. (100ppm Hypochlorous acid solution = A 1-in-500 dilution of household bleach with tap water) 3. Wash popcorns with sterile water 3-times. 4. In this episode we've sailed into and dropped the anchor at Cayo Cuervo and we begin to explore. The Cay is very sheltered from all but the South. The Shrimp Fishermen anchor their boats here at night but there is still loads of room for cruiser boats. The Fishermen as you will see are very friendly and welcome a visit. Don't expect a gift of Lobster and if they offer it's your lucky day! Bring Rum as a return gift. Cuba’s Garden of the Queen is a wonderful place. Just one problem... We couldn't use our mainsail! We've mentioned it in prior videos, but we lost the battens overboard during a storm in Neiafu after I didn't lash them down properly when the mainsail was off getting repaired. Not one of my better moments, that's for sure. So instead, we found a weather window with plenty of wind and sailed using only our headsails. This worked out better than I expected as it took us less than 3 days to sail the 421nm into Savu Savu. Plus we managed our 3rd spinnaker flight in a row! It barely counts as successful, but without any additional rips, I'll take it! Thanks for watching! So we decided that the winds were not strong enough for us to sail to Cape Verde so we turned around and headed back to Las Palmas.... it was a wee bit sad because we were all so excited.
