The Pacific Ocean Crossing - 36 days, out in one of the biggest ocean in the world done and dusted and it was just the two of us, here is a bit of a taste of our experience. 4130NM travelled, 864 hours of sailing & watching the ocean go by, over 700 litres of fuel burned, 900 litres of water utilised, 2 lines chaffed, 1 d-shackle broke, ripped spinnaker, over 100 squid & flying fish came to say hello, 4 fish got away, 2 fish landed, no more than 2 hours sleep at one time, biggest sea was 4M and our strongest wind 30knots. We went from big seas to sunny days, lightning storms to rain squalls, strong winds to a calm breeze, banging and crashing waves all around to a millpond ocean. This has been one of the most mentally challenging things we have done in our life to date. Some days you feel like jumping off the side of the boat to get off the roller coaster ride that does not stop or you just want to curl up and hide in a dark corner away from all the banging and crashing, but most days you are sitting on top of the world. The sun is shinning, vibes are high and you can't wipe the smile off your face. Being out at sea for this long has been one of those experiences that pushes you to become better and you find out how strong you really can be ? The last 1000NM we had extremely light variable winds, trying to keep Inspire moving at a steady pace above 4 knots with hardly any fuel left onboard meant many sleepless nights making sail change trying to stop the sails from flapping about while we waited for wind.... the frustrations were real! Your mind is a powerful tool, focusing on achieving our challenge, sailing Inspire into our home waters the South Pacific and that feeling of accomplishment after stepping foot onto a tropical island after days at sea has kept us super positive throughout the whole sail. Would we do it again? Who knows... but what I do know is that we are super proud we have done it!

Hi Everyone, Hope you are all having a super week! So we had a BABY!!! Cove is now a big six month old, its crazy how time just goes so super fast! It makes you really appreciate all those special moments and how important it is to just enjoy every second. Rohan and I have been really loving being home and spending lots of time with our family and friends. Grab a coffee and sit down with me while a ramble on about our future plans (sorry if i talk to much haha) and our past sailing adventures and the most important part... you get to meet baby Cove. Plus how incredible was the moment Rohan saw New Zealand! So emotional, each time I watch it brings tears to my eyes. It has been a remarkable trip over the past three year and to have our home in our home waters was a moment that we will never forget. Love you all and thank you again for all your support. Here is the link to Give Clean Water! https://givecleanwater.org/our-story/ We are so stoked to be partnered with them! To kick this off! Our last two video uploads we are going to donate ALL of our patreon funds! That means you guys have provided four families in Fiji with clean water for 10 year! How incredible is that. I am so happy and privileged to have your guys support our creations and that together we can help families in Fiji. THANK YOU!! Jump onboard, become a patreon and support our creations. Felt like we were on a David Attenborough show! It was a pretty insane and rememberable week in Panama. We encountered the local deadly Shelter Bay Croc and a beautiful gentle Mumma and Baby Sloth. IT WAS EPIC. After our Jungle encounters we headed up to the San Blas Islands where there was pure white sandy beaches and that turquoise blue water we are always chasing. Well lets just say there were smiles all around when we seen the lights of Panama, it was a rather rocky ride across the Caribbean Sea. Inspire always gets us to our destination safely. We headed into Shelter Bay Marina to get a few jobs done in preparation for the Pacific Ocean. Abbys Dad comes onboard for a well deserved holiday, we explored the Jungle and stumbled across some incredible wildlife and historic sights. Finally it's time, we get to adventure out onto the big blue ocean... the feeling was unreal. Being out on the Ocean is incredible, you are free out there! Before we sailed out on our Caribbean Sea crossing we stopped in at Norman Island in the BVI's. The sea was crystal clear, beautiful fish life and we had great company around us. Norman Island was a perfect spot for us to get used to living back on onboard Inspire. Lots of love to you all. Have a super day!
