Putting solar panels on a small boat, especially one as old as our 1965 Alberg 30 presents a lot of challenges. The most glaring is how do you make it so the panels don't detract from the classic lines of the boat. Separating the front speakers from the lounge speakers using a small inexpensive amplifier. In this video i test the unit to figure out if its safe to install in the motorhome using a lab power supply a flir thermal camera and good sense :) Installation is self explanatory. Finished result was quite pleasing. Only thing left to do is test it on the road.

Over the course of several weeks, we scraped and sanded all of our old bottom paint off, including several layers of VC17 which is notoriously hard to remove. We did a new barrier coat and new ablative bottom paint. Andy also rebuilt the rudder shoe and rudder pin on our Alberg 30!
