94 year old Jessie Varalyay was married to legendary Snipe boatbuilder Lou Varalyay. She talks about Lou's love of working with wood and his attention to the details that made the Snipes that he and his brother Ted created the boats of choice in the 30's, 40's & 50's.
Eric did most of his sailing on the West Coast and around his home fleet in Alamitos Bay. He's a strong supporter of getting junior sailors involved in the Class. In fact, he started sailing with his daughter when she was a junior and has been sailing with her for over 30 years.
