Tahiti & Moorea by Sailboat 🇵🇫 | Marlin Fishing, Mountains & Island Life (EP031)

In our latest episode, we visit the last atolls of the Tuamotus before making our way from Rangiroa to Tahiti on a not-so-pleasant passage. But we made it! Three weeks exploring the Society Islands are waiting for us. 🌴⛵️ 🏙️ In Tahiti, we enjoy city life again after weeks on remote atolls. 🎡 Samuel visits his first-ever funfair. 👋 We welcome a new guest on board. 🔧 A few days in the marina mean boat projects and a big provisioning run. 🚗 We explore Tahiti by rental car before sailing on to Moorea. 🎣 On the way, we catch a huge marlin – and release it again. 🥾 In Moorea, we hike into the mountains and enjoy incredible views over the turquoise lagoon. 🐚 At the natural history museum, we learn more about the formation of Polynesia. 🍍 And of course, we visit the factory where the famous Rotui juice is made. 🌴 We quickly realize how different life here is from the Tuamotus – tourism is everywhere, from jet skis to animals being fed for close-up encounters.
