PREPARING OUR 40 YEAR OLD SAILBOAT TO SAIL | Will Soph get her sea legs back? S1CH.21

Our 40 year old sailboat is constantly requiring our love and attention and as soon as Soph can walk again we want to push her out of the marina and get back to adventuring. We start by servicing the engine, finding a potential oil problem in the saildrive and stitch together the forever falling apart sails. This week is exciting for Soph as she finds out whether she can start to walk again or not. We head to the hospital after visiting a diesel mechanic, who eases our worries for the saildrive. We order in a diver to scrub Nakamas bum among many other things. Hopefully this is the last of our marina work and we can now get back out there.
