Our FINAL Passage Home Didn't Go As Expected

🌊 THE OCEAN HAD OTHER PLANS! | Sailing Home to Florida After 36 countries and countless miles at sea, we’ve finally LEFT our final country — the Dominican Republic. Now it’s time for our last multi-day passage as we make our way home to Florida… or at least, that was the plan! With incredible winds behind us, our boat is flying, and suddenly we realize we’re going to arrive in St. Augustine nearly two days earlier than expected. Rather than rush into port, we make an unplanned detour to Ft. Pierce to reconnect with a great friend we met on the dock three years ago, just before we left on this incredible journey. And there’s an extra surprise waiting in Ft. Pierce — Davis gets to pick up his best friend, who joins the crew for the final leg home to St. Augustine! This week is filled with fast sailing, playful dolphins, unforgettable sunsets, and those special moments of family life at sea that have made this journey so much more than just a trip around the world.
