Ep36 - Fixing milky oil in the sail drive

In our latest Sailing Seagull South episode we discover milky oil in our sail drive again when we lift out for maintenance! So we drain the oil from our 120S Volvo sail drive and remove the propeller. It soon becomes apparent that the in shaft has become scored and it is this allowing water to leak in. After nearly 20 years of sailing we shouldn't be complaining. In order to avoid an expensive replacement shaft we fit sleeves over the scoring to repair the leak. Hopefully watching how its done can help others with the same problem. Fingers crossed it works.
