What we learned in Cuba right away is that people appreciate it, but do not just want hand-outs. They want to be able to practice their professions and to contribute despite the lack of materials arriving regularly on the island. We saw this with the first people that we met as we arrived in Cuban waters...we also met fellow sailors who had just been demasted. Thank you to all the patrons of this channel!
