COME TO THE LONGBOARDING PARTY! April 29 and 30. WOOD FOR SALE. Work with us. Have a good time. Come on by. Link below. RSVP: Buy wood or come help us out: https://mailchi.mp/da9d0bba53d9/longboardingparty When you say you're bringing your best people and that you're going to be able to grind the entire hull on a first pass of fairing, then you better bring your a-game, and Robin's dad and his friends did just that. Working with large angle-grinders is grueling and we appreciate their hard work. Our propane tank was designed to be on its side, which is convenient for storage just aft of the cabin house. David begins mocking up a deck box that will act both as storage for needful things and, when ranging farther and living aboard, it will be just the right size for holding a spare, full propane tank, and the empty one when we switch it out. Propane is our main cooking fuel. Ross applies a satisfying first coat of oil on the deck after meticulously taking care of scraping and repairing the pitch alongside George. Yes, we're aware that our guests are not wearing PPE of certain sorts. We do have a culture of safety here in the boat shop, and encourage everyone to wear protection that's appropriate for the work being done. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Sign up for our email newsletter: http://eepurl.com/hn3Qyv Acorn to Arabella is a wooden boat building project taking place in Granby, Massachusetts. Steve started as an amateur wooden boat builder building a 38' wooden sailboat in his backyard: designer William Atkin's Ingrid with a Stormy Petrel's gaff rig. These videos follow the journey from tree felling, to lumber milling, to lofting, to the lead keel pour and beyond—sharing details of the woodworking, carpentry, metal smithing, tool building, and tool maintenance that classic wooden boats command. This ultimate DIY boatbuilding project will continue well past launch, when he and the crew will travel and learn to cruise aboard the handmade wooden boat that they've built. Just kidding about all that, this channel is about a Siberian Laika named Akiva. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- If you are interested in supporting/helping here are a few ways: https://www.acorntoarabella.com/how-to-help Acorn to Arabella's wishlist: https://www.acorntoarabella.com/wishlistpriority TotalBoat supports A2A!
