The North Wind 56, converted to 60 ft is a true blue water cruising yacht with huge volume yet well set-up to be handled by a small crew. She has hydraulic furling mainsail and twin headsails (one with hydraulic furling) plus a staysail. Powered by a 150 HP Volvo (overhauled in 2009) she gives great speed either under sail or engine. She sleeps 8 in 4 double cabins, plus a crew cabin forward.
