Depuis des milliers d’années, les Inuit et leurs ancêtres vivent en harmonie avec la nature, sur les côtes, face à la mer. Ils vivent dans une des régions les plus isolées et sauvages du monde, l’Arctique. À la suite d'une tour du monde en famille je rêvais de naviguer entre les glaces et icebergs du Groenland et de l'Arctique, de franchir le passage du Nord-Ouest. Nous sommes Claire Roberge et Guy Lavoie vidéastes, formateurs et conférenciers. Notre voilier Balthazar est un dériveur intégral en acier construit par nous en collaboration avec un chantier professionnel à Montréal au Québec. Après 18 ans de voyage, une quarantaine de pays visités et plus de 40 000 milles nautiques parcourus en famille ou en couple, après un tour du monde par trois océans et un grand périple nordique avec, il faut le dire, de rares moments difficiles, mais surtout avec des rencontres et des expériences extraordinaires, nous avons l’envie de partager en toute simplicité ce bagage qui est le nôtre.
