In this episode we finally arrive at beautiful Lady Musgrave. Absolute paradise. Lady Musgrave Island is a 14 hectares (35 acres) coral cay on Australia’s Great Barrier Reef, with a 1,192 hectares (2,950 acres) surrounding reef. We meet up with our friends, go snorkelling and Shane catches fish. It was so wonderful to be surrounded by so much beauty. This week we christened our highly anticipated and newest member of the steamboat fleet, the American Countess. The ceremony was successfully conducted in New Orleans on Sunday, March 21, 2021. This marks not just an historic and proud moment for our celebrated cruise line, but also the continued restart of American river cruising itself.

Newbie wannabe pirates invest in a few boats, we have a Mirror Dinghy, Bruce Roberts 34, Top Hat 25 Mk1, Timber Hull 23 Alan Rice, and a 14 foot Catamaran which we are repairing, sailing around going on adventures. We are based in Adelaide, South Australia and are new to sailing so we are learning as we go, what an amazing ride stay tuned as we get up to mischief, have a laugh and go on some crazy adventures. Hoy te voy a enseñar cómo se montan unos grifos de fondo de polipropileno reforzado con fibra de vidrio. Los grifos Bucchi de polipropileno reforzado con fibra de vidrio son homologados para su instalación en grifos de fondo. Al no tener componentes metálicos no existe corrosión ante la acción galvánica. Una vez los instales, los tendrás montados para siempre. Yo los he comprado en www.Baitra.com. Su número de teléfono es 986354000. Son muy fáciles de instalar. En el caso de una sustitución de pasacascos viejos, tendrás que retirar los antiguos y limpiar bien la zona. Sellar bien el pasacascos con cuaquier marca buena de masilla de poliuretano y dejar secar. Si los montas de primera vez, tendrás que hacer un agujero con una corona. Antes de agujerear ten la precaución de ver por un lado y por el otro si no tienes algún impedimento o si no vas a dañar alguna pieza al hacerlo. Haz bien este trabajo, date cuenta que estos pasacascos están sumergidos y si no los sellas bien, tendrás una vía de agua. Para el sellado entre los componentes de polipropileno reforzado con fibra de vidrio, o sea, polipropileno con polipropileno, será suficiente unas vueltas de cinta de PTFE. El catálogo de Baitra tiene un montón de referencias para un montón de posibilidades de montaje. Válvulas rectas, a noventa grados, entronques, pasacascos, uniones rectas, codos, todo lo necesario para cualquier instalación bajo la línea de flotación. Anímate a hacerlo tú mismo. Si tienes en cuenta las precauciones que te recomiendo, es muy fácil dejar un acabado profesional. RORC De Guingand Bowl Race 2025 Start: Saturday, 17th May 2025 Course: Cowes – Around Marks (82nm) Organised by: Royal Ocean Racing Club, in association with the Royal Yacht Squadron The RORC De Guingand Bowl Race marked the fifth race of the 2025 RORC Season’s Points Championship—the world’s largest offshore racing series. It also served as Round One of the IRC Two-Handed National Championship and the second event in the newly launched RORC Cowes Offshore Racing Series. With the hottest May in over 30 years, 71 teams took part in the race in sparkling conditions. The RORC fleet made for a spectacular sight as they raced east out of the Solent. Chris Frost’s Carkeek 40+ Amp-lifi claimed Line Honours and overall victory after IRC time correction. Second place went to Gery Trentesaux’s Ker 43 Long Courrier, while Chris and Vanessa Choules’ 37-year-old Sigma 38 With Alacrity finished third overall and took the win in IRC Four.
