The Italian team is on the podium, with a series of excellent results and a first place. First day of ACT 6 is led by the Austrian Red Bull Sailing Team, ahead of The Wave, Muscat and LINO SONEGO TEAM ITALIA, in third place. Today's result is very comforting because after a slow start, the team led by skipper Enrico Zennaro - which ranks at the helm the champion Arnaud Psarofaghis - has lined up a series of perfect results, crowned with a win, a second and two third places. Eight Extreme and their crews have faced in seven races characterized by very unstable winds. On Lake Garda, the Schneiter family’s Team Tilt, managed by father Alex and steered by Olympic 49er sailor son Sébastien, was crowned first ever GC32 World Champion. Apart from a brief falter in the final race, the Swiss team over the last three days never finished a race lower than fourth, despite tricky conditions, a variety of race courses and wind strengths that Lake Garda threw at the 13 teams. Another long weekend, another holiday...we planned to sail to Sydney for the Vivid Festival, but after getting the last few jobs done we found that we couldn't get Barnaby out of Swansea Channel. We weren't going to let that stop us though. We packed our bags, booked a hotel and drove the 3 hours to Sydney to spend the next 3 days exploring in the cold and rain, walking 35 kms in total!
