The wires from the mast goes into a through-hull and then into the boat, but when the mast dismounted there i a hole in the deck where water can enter. At first I used tape but found out it was possible to buy a cover to close off and seal the hole. It was found at the german site www.svb.de and called "decksdurchführung" the price for the complete cover kit was 42 US dollars.

Dopo aver visitato l'Arcipelago delle Luisiade, sulla rotta per le Isole Solomon, l'Obiwan ha fatto uno scalo di una settimana nell'Atollo di Budi Budi. Lontano da tutte le rotte delle barche a vela e distante miglia e miglia dalle altre isole, l'atollo non riceveva una visita da una barca a vela da ben prima del Covid. Gli abitanti vivono di pesca e di piccole coltivazioni di frutta e verdura. Una serie infinita di canoe è venuta sottobordo per chiedere ogni genere di merce, magliette, medicinali, ami da pesca, tabacco, caffè solubile, riso, farina, penne, caramelle e chi più ne ha più ne metta!
